Join as we spend Sunday serving our community and making a direct impact in the fight against hunger. We’ll be volunteering at the Hunger Action Center, where we’ll help inspect, sort, and pack grocery donations for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.

About the event
With 1 in 9 Georgians facing food insecurity, every action counts. In addition to volunteering, we encourage you to bring at least two nonperishable food items to help provide even more meals to families in need. High-demand items include natural peanut butter, canned chicken, and canned fruits & vegetables.
What You Need to Know:
Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or work boots recommended). No sandals, Crocs, or heeled shoes. Comfortable clothing is a must! Some volunteers will be working in refrigerated areas, so long pants and a sweatshirt or light jacket are recommended.
Arrive Early: Please check in 10 minutes before the shift starts. Orientation begins promptly at 1:30 PM. Late arrivals may not be able to serve.
Register in Advance: Every adult must complete the registration process before arriving. This ensures all necessary details and volunteer forms are completed ahead of time.
