FOUR WAYS WE SHOW UP

Everything we do falls into four areas designed to help our community connect, contribute, grow, and thrive.

  • Build the relationships that make Atlanta feel smaller and life feel fuller.

Making meaningful connections as an adult can be difficult.

NOA creates intentional spaces where conversations feel more natural and meeting someone new does not feel like traditional networking.

You do not need to know anyone before you arrive. We design the experience to help you feel welcomed, included, and connected.

    What this may look like:

    • Community dinners

    • Coffee meetups

    • Intimate mixers

    • New-to-Atlanta gatherings

    • Sporting events

    • Cultural outings

    • Neighborhood experiences

    • Game nights

    • Small-group activities

    • Member matching and introductions

The goal is not to meet everyone in the room.

It is to leave knowing someone you did not know when you arrived.

  • Turn your care for Atlanta into meaningful action.

Being part of a community means contributing to it.

NOA works alongside local nonprofits, schools, neighborhoods, and community organizations already addressing the needs of Atlantans. We create approachable ways for people to give their time, talents, resources, and attention to the city they call home.

    What this may look like:

    • Food packing and distribution

    • School supply and essential-needs drives

    • Youth mentorship and literacy support

    • Career-readiness programs

    • Neighborhood cleanups

    • Family support initiatives

    • Holiday giving projects

    • Skills-based volunteering

    • Community resource events

    • Support for local nonprofit partners

You do not have to change the entire city by yourself.

You just have to be willing to help where you can.

  • Gain the knowledge, tools, and support to move your life forward.

You should not have to figure everything out alone.

NOA creates practical learning experiences led by people who can make important information easier to understand and use. We focus on the topics that shape our careers, finances, families, leadership, and everyday lives.

    What this may look like:

    • Career and leadership development

    • Financial literacy

    • Homebuying and real estate education

    • Entrepreneurship and small-business support

    • Technology and AI workshops

    • Estate planning

    • Civic education

    • Relationships and family planning

    • Motherhood and parenting conversations

    • Personal development

    • Conversations with local leaders

    • Skill-sharing among members

No panels just to have panels.

Useful conversations with information you can actually apply.

  • Strengthen your body, protect your wellbeing, and care for yourself alongside community.

Wellness should feel welcoming, not intimidating.

Our fitness and wellness experiences make it easier to move your body, try something different, and take care of yourself with the encouragement of other people. You do not need to be an athlete or already have a routine to participate.

    What this may look like:

    • Walking and running groups

    • Pilates and yoga

    • Dance classes

    • Hiking

    • Cycling

    • Pickleball and recreational sports

    • Beginner-friendly fitness classes

    • Mental wellness conversations

    • Stress-management experiences

    • Nutrition education

    • Rest and recovery activities

    • Community wellness days

There is no pressure to perform or prove anything.

Just an opportunity to feel better and keep showing up for yourself.

More than a calendar of events

These four areas are not simply categories on our calendar. They reflect the kind of community we want to build. One where people know each other. One where learning is shared. One where wellness feels accessible. One where showing up for Atlanta is part of belonging to it.
